Jan-Werner Müller is a professor of politics at Princeton University. Before that, he was a fellow at All Souls College, Oxford. His books include Constitutional Patriotism, Contesting Democracy: Political Ideas in Twentieth-Century Europe and What is Populism?, which has been translated into sixteen languages. Müller writes frequently for The Guardian, the London Review of Books, NYRBDaily, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Le Monde.
