Maria Engberg is an Assistant Professor at Malmö University, Sweden, Department of Media Technology and Product Development, and an Affiliate Researcher at the Augmented Environments Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Her research interests include digital aesthetics, locative media, and media studies. She is the coeditor of Ubiquitous Computing, Complexity, and Culture (Edman, Bolter, Diaz, Søndergaard, and Engberg, Routledge, 2015), and the author of several articles on digital aesthetics, literature, and locative media, including augmented and mixed reality. Engberg designs mobile media experiences for Augmented and Mixed Reality (AR/MR) for cultural heritage and informal learning and entertainment experiences.
